I’m Brad, owner of HeroGapped. My love for barbering started in an unexpected place — Army basic training. We were given an old pair of clippers and made to cut each other’s hair, and that’s where I first discovered how much I enjoyed the craft. As soon as I left the Army, I decided to take barbering seriously and enrolled at the London School of Barbering in Covent Garden. From there, I worked in a number of different shops, gaining experience, developing my style and learning everything I could along the way. Eventually, I took the leap and opened my own private studio. What started as a small, personal space has grown into the shop Hero Gapped is today. I’ve invested a huge amount of time, money and energy into mastering the craft, and I’ve been fortunate enough to learn from some of the best barbers in the industry. I’ve travelled across the country to train, learn and constantly push myself to become better. For me, barbering has never just been about cutting hair. It’s about the attention to detail, the relationships you build and constantly striving to improve. Hero Gapped is the result of years of hard work, passion and a genuine love for the craft.

My name's Reuben Valentino Natale and I started barbering at a young age, cutting my mates' and my dad's hair, and that's where my passion began. I've always enjoyed being creative and seeing how a good haircut can completely transform someone's appearance and confidence. As I got older, I realised I wanted to turn that passion into a career. I knew working in an office wasn't for me — I wanted a job where I could be creative, meet different people, and most importantly, make customers feel happy and confident when they leave the chair. I decided to take a 12-week barbering course at Chichester College, which gave me the skills and confidence to take barbering seriously and pursue it as a career. I've been barbering since 2025 and I'm proud to be working at HeroGapped. Since I started I've really enjoyed developing my skills, meeting new customers, and creating different styles and transformations. Every customer is different, and I love being able to create a haircut that suits their personality, style and what they're looking for. For me barbering isn't just about cutting hair — it's about the whole experience. There's nothing better than seeing a customer look in the mirror, love their haircut and walk out feeling more confident. That feeling is what motivates me to keep learning, improving and becoming the best barber I can be.

I'm Josh. I got into barbering because I couldn't stop getting my own hair cut — that turned into a fascination with cutting it. I started a hairdressing apprenticeship at 16, and after a year and a half I picked up the clippers for good. I've been cutting men's hair ever since, starting at 18.
